For the retired, the terrain is level, and is ideal for visitors who have difficulty with mobility. Much thought has been given to provide disabled access to all amenities and accordingly, Skegness is ideal for those who have "difficulty in getting about" but wish to take an active holiday break. The town is an ideal venue for elderly visitors.

Between the beach and the promenade, there are acres of beautiful gardens that have become the admiration of the county. It is here that visitors can either explore, relax, or soak in the sunshine on a warm summers day. Needless to say, the tranquil atmosphere, and fresh air is pleasurable to all.
