The Lincolnshire Coast is relatively easy to travel to. The location in central eastern England is ideal for easy access for most visitors throughout the U.K. Skegness has a reasonable and reliable Rail link. Visitors are recommended to carefully note rail network times, and appreciate that because we are not a mainline station, the frequency of trains may differ to that in City locations.

Image of trainFor visitors arriving by Rail or Coach, both terminals are located on Richmond Drive (adjacent to the railway station). Ample Taxi services operate from this area. There is a regular bus service to Ingoldmells, Chapel St. Leonards, Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe. Similar services are available to Lincoln and Boston. Bus time table information an be obtained by visiting the Stage Coach web site. Time tables vary in accordance with the holiday seasons.

Image of carVisitors travelling to Ingoldmells and Chapel St. Leonards from the South (via Boston) may consider taking the A16 from Boston rather than the A52 coastal route. Travel to the Junction of A158, close to the village of Partney. Follow the signposts to Skegness. At Gunby roundabout (shortly after the village of Candlesby) take the third exit to Skegness, but keep in the left side lane. This will filter into rural roads, through the village of Orby and will join the A52 to the north of Ingoldmells village. This route will avoid the necessity of travelling through Skegness town centre, which may be congested at peak times. This route may also be taken to Skegness, but access the right hand lane after Gunby roundabout.
